You know that feeling when you’re buzzing with excitement because you found a new purpose for something you couldn’t use? That’s exactly what’s happened at Single Use. Our QLD Brand Representative decided to donate unused dental needles to Aura Veterinary Hospital.
When it comes to our beloved pets, they are often core family members. We often hope that we don’t have to take them to a veterinary hospital. But, if and when we do, it’s a comfort knowing that teams like Aura Veterinary Hospital love, care, and comfort our pets unconditionally. To paint the picture, Dr. Annabel Shepherd and Dr. Sebastian Olasek have taken care of our friends on the Sunshine Coast for over 30 years.
Aura Veterinary Hospital’s motto is to create a stress-free visit to the vet using the coined approach of ‘Fear Free’ care. There may still be a stethoscope involved, but the aim is to create comfort while providing treatment. Aura further offers Pre-Visit Pharmaceuticals, or PVPs for short. It’s a medication prescribed by vets to help manage the visitors anxiety before the visit. They also provide behavioural consultations, so whether your cat’s using shoes as a litterbox or your dog is at war with Australia Post, the team has you covered.
The donation of dental needles may be a small gesture, but well-worth knowing that the needles will be put to good use for the incredible care for animals. It’s a reminder that there’s always room for a bit of kindness in the world. So, the next time you come across something you can’t use, before you throw it away, remember that someone else may have a purpose for it. After all, one person’s expiring dental needles could be another’s way of providing fear-free veterinary care.
