The terms and conditions listed below refers to Single Use Dental Instruments website (the βsiteβ) under the domain name www.singleusedentalinstruments.com and are applicable to all site users. By accessing and browsing the site, you accept, without limitations or qualification, the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions you should not use this website.
If you are under 18 years old you are not permitted to engage or place an order on this website.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, without notice, with immediate effect. Please check periodically for any changes or updates. If you have any questions relating to the terms and conditions please contact our team by phone or email.
+ Sales and products
When placing an order this is made in accordance with both our terms and conditions and privacy policy. Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or changed unless written approval is given from management at Single Use Dental Instruments.
All products will not be supplied for resale and are for commercial use only. Keep away from children and other unauthorised parties. Dental products are to be used for appropriate dental procedures within a clinical environment. Single Use Dental Instruments are not responsible for any breach of sterility which occurs when products are used inappropriately or outside of a clinical environment. To ensure products remain sterile they should be opened for immediate use. Each item can be used once only. Our company is not responsible for any infection or transfer of disease that may occur in circumstances where products have been used more than once.
SMART Waste is only available in selected Australian states, please speak to your Account Manager for more information.
+ Pricing and availability
All prices are stated exclusive of the legally applicable tax rates for customers based in their respective regions. Single Use attempts to ensure that prices are consistent across all formats however despite best efforts, items on the website or catalogue may be mispriced. In this circumstance, the price will be verified before the order payment is complete. If a mistake has occurred and the price of a product is higher than the stated price, we will contact you to confirm whether you want to continue the purchase or cancel your order.
Our website does not function as an online store and as such the availability of products are not listed. Products are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions. If any products you request are unavailable Single Use Dental Instruments will try to offer you an alternative product similar to the one you wished to purchase. The substitute product may be a different price to the original product. You do not have to accept the alternative product offered. If you decline a substituted item, with your approval, the original product will be placed on backorder and dispatched once stock becomes available. You will not be charged for this product until it is ready for dispatch.
+ Payment
Initial purchase orders require prepayment before the products will be dispatched. Recurring purchase orders will be invoiced for a 30-day payment term. Payments can be transferred directly into our business account or via credit card. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of products until payments are completed.
If you fail to make payment within the 30-day invoice term, become insolvent, declare bankruptcy or experience an event that has an effect on your businessβs financial condition we may, without notice;
- (i) charge you interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (or the highest rate permitted by law, if less) on any late payment
- (ii) initiate collections against outstanding invoices and engage a third party to manage this process on behalf of Single Use Dental instruments; you may be liable for any fees or charges that a third party may bill for this
- (iii) terminate your Business Account
+ Delivery and charges
Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed and should not be relied on as such. We aim to dispatch your products within 24 hours of receiving your order, where stock permits. If the product requested is not in stock, payment will not be completed until the item is ready for dispatch. We will not be held responsible for situations where we are unable to meet the order quantities required.
Delivery fees may be charged for orders based on order quantities and locations. For information on delivery fees please contact your local office. Single Use Dental Instruments reserves the right to amend delivery fees at any time without notice. *Free shipping offer excludes Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and South Australia.
If an order is received on a public holiday this will be processed on the following business day. It is your responsibility to place orders within a reasonable time frame to meet your personal requirements.
All items purchased from Single Use Dental Instruments are made in accordance with a shipment contract by our nominated carriers. Any risk of damages and loss during the delivery process is the liability of the associated carrier. As a third-party service provider is used to complete product deliveries we will not be held responsible for their quality of service. Should an adverse event or weather conditions outside our reasonable control result in a late or cancelled delivery we will notify you as soon as possible. Delivery will be completed as soon as deemed possible by the nominated carrier.
+ Returns
Single Use does not allow for the return of products unless the product is damaged or an error on our part has occurred. Once an on order has been placed it cannot be returned or refunded if you no longer require it or have ordered the incorrect item. If you deem the product to be damaged this must be reported to Single Use within 14 days of receiving the item. The details of the damage must be reported in combination with the Lot and Expiry number of the faulty products. Upon receipt of this information, replacement or refund will be arranged. Refunds will be completed using the same means of payment used in the initial transaction unless an alternative method is requested. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods or evidence has been supplied indicating the product has been returned.
+ Customs
When ordering products from Single Use for delivery outside of Australia or New Zealand you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the appropriate destination. Any additional charges required for customs clearance must be borne by you; as a company, we have no control over these charges. Customs policies can vary between countries, it is your responsibility to contact the local customs office for further information if required.
Please note that when ordering from Single Use you must comply with the laws and regulations of the country in which the products are received. Customer privacy is important to us and it is important to be aware that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
+ Your account
If you use the Single Use website you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. As the account holder, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur within your account. It is your duty to ensure that your password is kept confidential and secure which may include restricting access to your computer and devices.
You are required to maintain accurate personal information and delivery details. It is your responsibility to inform the Single Use staff of any changes, particularly a change in address, as this information is required for deliveries. If we are not informed of changes and an incorrect address is used, you will be liable for the delivery charge this incurs.
You can access and update the information you have provided us, including your account settings, in the My Account area of our website.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate your account or remove/edit content if you are in breach of these conditions of use or any other applicable terms and conditions.
+ Event Registration
At Single Use, our customers are our priority. We strive to offer fair and reliable services with your best interests in mind, while recognising that life can sometimes be unpredictable.
Please find our detailed terms and conditions below:
β Cancellations made at least four weeks prior to the relevant event will receive a full refund, less 10% of the course fee for management fees.
β Cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the relevant event will receive a 50% refund.
β Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice via the appropriate means of communication or failure to attend the course are unable to be refunded.
Please note that Single Use will not assume any financial responsibility for:
β Weather disruptions
β Flight delays or changes
β Travel delays or changes
β Changes to an attendee’s work commitment
β Personal circumstance
Single Use reserves the right to reschedule or postpone an event. In such an occurrence, it is your responsibility to adjust any travel, schedule, work, or personal commitments as required and Single Use will not assume any financial responsibility or obligations.
We ask that you do not request personal or special consideration for a refund. This will be politely declined based on these terms and conditions.
Alternative options:
Single Use will permit another person to attend the event in your place at no additional cost.
You must provide adequate notification five days prior to the event for administrative purposes.
This involves contacting Single Use via email with the following details:
β Your name and mobile number
β Reason for cancellation
β Full name of the new attendee
β Mobile number of the new attendee
β Direct email address of the new attendee
β Location of the new attendee (which state they reside in)
β Practice in which the new attendee currently works
Please note that tax invoices will not be transferred into another attendee’s name.
All cancellations or transfers must be received via email at sales@sudinstruments.com
On registering with Single Use, you acknowledge and accept in full the terms and conditions detailed above.
Communications Policy
Single Use is managed and operated by staff between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
On registering, we ask that you verify you have entered the correct mobile contact phone number and direct email details.
You will receive the following communication:
β Confirmation of your registration and payment digitally.
β Tax Invoice
If for any reason you do not receive this three days from registering, please check your spam/junk mail.
